Website privacy notice
This notice covers the getzazu.io website and the free tools on it, such as the Mental Load Calculator. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which covers the Zazu service itself. Effective September 19, 2026.
What we collect on the website
When you visit getzazu.io we record basic usage information: the pages you view, the buttons you click, the site that sent you here, your device and browser type, and a random identifier stored in your browser so we can tell visits apart. We also see your approximate location, such as your city or region, which is worked out from your IP address. We don’t use advertising cookies or advertising trackers, and you don’t need to give us your name or contact details to use the website.
The Mental Load Calculator
The calculator doesn’t ask for your name, email or phone number. When you finish it, we record your answers, your result and, if you chose to tell us, whether you’re a mom or a dad, together with the random browser identifier. We turn off location for calculator results. If you use “Invite my partner,” your answers travel inside the link you send. They aren’t stored in an account, and when your partner opens the link, the answers in it are recorded the same way. We use calculator results to understand how families split the mental load, and we may publish combined statistics. We never publish individual answers.
Who processes this information
We use Mixpanel, Inc., a US analytics provider, to collect and store website and calculator analytics on our behalf. The website is built and hosted on Framer. These providers handle the information only to provide their services to us.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it for targeted advertising. We don’t use website or calculator information to build advertising profiles.
Because we don’t sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this notice first and honor browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep website and calculator analytics only for as long as they are useful for understanding how the website and the calculator are used. After that we delete them or strip out anything that could identify a browser. You can clear the identifier yourself at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. You can also ask us to delete your information by emailing privacy@getzazu.io. Because this information isn’t tied to your name, tell us roughly when you used the website and we’ll delete what we can match.
Your US privacy rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to give you a copy. Email privacy@getzazu.io. We’ll confirm the request in a reasonable way and respond within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent to ask on your behalf. If we decline a request, reply to tell us you’d like to appeal and we’ll review it. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
The website and the calculator are meant for adults. They aren’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
